Scientists Alter Developing Fish Brain to Resemble That of Another Species

While studying fish the scientist found that applying chemicals to the embryo of the unborn fish they can make it resemble another fish. I am all for experimaents but i think that if a fish has a certain type of brain it has it for a reason. Such as it has to have defence mechanisms, tose of which the other fish may not have for various reasons.

  1. Wow, that is fascinating. I can hardly believe such a thing is possible. It seems that the environment in the womb has a lot more to do with development than originally thought. Perhaps it can be used to help a deformed child, develop correctly.

  2. this is a very interesting fact. to be able to change a whole fishes characteristics is amazing. i wonder if the gene mutation has anything to do with it?
