Leaf-like Sea Slug Feeds on Light

A sea slug found off the coast of North America has been found to produce food through photosynthesis, just like that in plants. This slug not only uses photosynthesis but also looks like a leaf. These slugs seem to have gotten the ability to use photosynthesis by eating algae and incorporating chloroplasts in their cells. These chloroplasts found within the slug can virtually supply all the energy for their needs for an entire life cycle.
