Breakthrough heart scanner will allow earlier diagnosis

At the University of Leeds they are working on a devive that will improve the ability to diagnois heart problems and conditions. This new device is called a cardiac scanner and will be able to identify most heart problems in foestuses more sufficent that other machines have done before, such as the use of an ultrasound. The new device will be a lot easier to operate due to the fact it will be smaller in shape than anything else that was used previously. The cardiac scanner is also a lot cheaper than other devices that are getting used now-a-days.
This new scanner will always allow doctors to carry out heart scans, which will decrease the waiting list in their offices. This system will also be able to point out those who need immediate medical attention. "Our device won't just benefit patients-it will also help ease the strain on healthcare resources and hospital waiting lists."
