A study by University of Arizona says that clumps of male water striders were in more matings than of sexual males. In this study, which can be found in the journal Science, female striders usually avoided their more persistent suitors and then chose the more relaxed ones.
This is just something the more generous have come to think but science requires experimentation. This new study is different from ones before that investigate same topics in which females were able to avoid unwanted suitors. Then the researchers realized that female striders can depart when harassed. They like more, the company of males who give them a little more personal space.
