Roland, an abandoned shar pei from Australia, underwent a face lift and double eye lift costing $897. Roland's surgery was not cosmetic, the dog needed it to be saved from going blind. Entropion is a painful condition where the dogs wrinkles push down on his eyes, causing it's eyelashes to be pushed inwards and rub against its eyes. Since Roland will not become blind he will have a much easier time finding a good home.

Amazing. I think this is a very cool article, who knew dogs have plastic surgeons. I am so glad to hear that Roland is not going to go blind because of his face lift. Although, it was not cosmetic I'm sure it took years off his face, hey I guess if Hedi Montag could undergo 24 plastic surgeries in one day why can't a shar pei dog get surgery?
