Zinc may help treat jellyfish stings
A Zinc compound take to treat the common cold may have found a second use for anyone unlucky enough to get stung by a box jellyfish. Box jellyfish deliver some of the most potent venom found in nature. Australian researchers have proposed that the venom attacks heart muscles. This explains why sting victims suffer cardiac arrest.
