A discovery
in Hungary provides us with knowledge of the first freshwater mosasaur. The
species lived about 84 million years ago and belongs to the mosasaur family.
The largest of this species was able to grow 20 feet in length. They were known
as a gigantic fin having marine lizard. Researchers have discovered multiple
fossils revealing juveniles and adults to have unusual shaped heads, tails, and
fins from other species in the same family.
