Scientists are worried about the warming of seas and its imact on coral reef. They warn if they seas keep warming the reefs might start to retreat from certains areas. Thus also taking an effect of the species that reside in them, when the water along the equator is warming the number of species is declining. Not to mention this could also effect on those who rely of these reefs for food source, and trade. The surface water has already warmed .7 degrees, and is also expected to rise until 2050. It is a shame for this to happen, not only does it effect just the reefs but the cahin reaction it has on the surroundings.
