The Jellyfish, Careful for the Tentacles.
The Austrailian Box Jellyfish are viciously lethal. A small touch is all it takes to case death for humans. Scientists have found how this venom takes the lives of victims, and a way to slow it down to prevent lethality. The venom creates pores in human red blood cells, thus releasing massive amounts of potassium. A loss of potassium this larges can cause cardiac arrest, and possibly death. But researchers have found that a zinc compound, when administered fast enoungh, can save lifes. This is something worthwild, not only did scientists extract venom, they discovered a possible treatment for it, maybe Jellyfish won't be as feared now?
